From a very early age, Miriam Balcazar showed an interest in cooking. As a teen, she avidly pored over cookbooks and began preparing sophisticated and elaborate dishes. Later on, as a working mother of two, she preferred healthy yet simple fare, to ensure proper nutrition and minimize time spent in the kitchen. In 2009, her family made the switch to plant-based eating, and she embraced the challenge of discovering new ingredients and transforming traditional recipes into healthier yet still tasty dishes.
