Clafouti is a fruity French dessert. This not-too-sweet version from Chef AJ is healthy enough to have for breakfast.

I forgot to add the applesauce, but it turned out fine. The last time I did not have applesauce, I blended an apple with a little water and used that. Today's version has banana, apple, and some frozen mango chunks. Always good!

Ok - I love this dish. As a Diabetic, I have been looking for an easy to make desert that is easy on the sugar, while reminding me of flavors I used to eat. Fabulous!

Very tasty. I'm trying to cut down on my sugar intake and this recipe just shows how it can be done without sacrificing the taste. Thanks Chef AJ for a great recipe. I did use frozen blueberries (thawed) instead of fresh and it still came out great.

This looks delicious. I can't give it a review because I haven't tried it yet, but I'm not really sure why this is called a clafouti. This is nothing remotely similar to a clafouti, which has a custardy texture. This is a crisp. Still looks yummy though!

I can't eat bananas and strawberries, so I made it with blueberries, cherries and mango. Delicious!

The Strawberry Clafouti was very good. I did make a few changes to the recipe. I didn't want a really strong banana flavor so only used two. I couldn't find any no-sugar-added strawberry jam so got something similar sweetened with juice and only used about 6 oz instead of the 10 oz and it was sweet enough. My non-vegan (sugar loving) husband liked it too! I will definitely make this again for myself and family! Thanks for sharing.
